Already got it wrong they are US Marines.

The Marines are not going to take very kindly to taking these photos.

Something wrong here. No US Marine would allow these guys to take those photos. Just when did Reuters take the photos? Judging from some of the media I would not be surprised if they witnessed their deaths.

I know this is cliche'-like, but we cannot win this war one patrol at a time. We won the battle of Hue (at a terrible price) this way, but of course not the war. If this is true, it's a despicable waste of our wonderful Marines.

I agree the Marines are not going to take kindly to these photos. Another thing we don't take kindly to is being called soldiers. No insult to soldiers but Marines are Marines! Many of us don't call our subordinates Troops either we call em Marines...
