Book recommendation. It's an old book, that went out of print and now is available sometimes. It's by a pen name "Kurban Said (Said the sufferer)." Ali and Nino
As an Islamic Studies grad, I found that one book more helpful in understanding Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran, the Occident, and the West's desire to understand it than anything. And, though fictional(this is debated), it's a great book. And a fast read.
