I found myself chuckling at your reply.
Your own "club", lol.......
Many of them are as nominal Christians as as are Jews
These nominal Christians are making common cause with Muslims. See the alliance between the Aztlandistas and the Muslims on the college campuses. Or see the proclivity of many new immigrants to ally with the Party of the Oppressed - the DemocRats
I'm in agreement with this writer. I see the immigration laws as currently promulgated as a threat to MY culture as a Christian
MY preference would be to limit immigration for a while to those strictly fleeing persecution for religious reasons. That would limit it to religious Christians and religious Jews
Flame away anyone and call me a bigot, but Muslims have an entire region to live where they are not oppressed, but are the oppressors
Christians and Jews in those regions are fleeing those oppressors. Plus, they tend to be conservative in their social outlook which suits me fine.I agree with you. My point was that this isnt a Jewish issue, rather a liberal vs conservative one. Aztlan is a perfect example, theyre rabidly anti-Semitic, have had decades long associations with Arafat, and theyre Christians (if theyre anything). The article makes some good points, but the titles are silly. The immigration issue isnt about Jews welcoming Muslims or Why Jews Welcome Muslims, rather about liberals (most of whom arent Jewish) promoting open and even illegal immigration. And the threat of unassimilated immigration isnt to Jews, as you note its to American culture. Defining the issue as why are the Jews letting the Muslims in completely misses the point.
