...a communion service, in which the bread that was used was rainbow colored.

"...take these Lucky Charms and eat of them..."

They took communion unworthly..which is a condemnation. To take such a communion as they did was a celebration of an abomination of the LAW..which says a man shall not have sex with another man. The same with a womam.

Lucifer must be really jumping for joy with these people on the loose.

Hendrix College Chaplain Wayne Clark, who brought the bread, claimed it was not meant to promote the homosexual rainbow theme.

Suuuuuuuuuure....Why not just sell advertising on it, Chaplain?

To Whom it May Concern:
I am a proud United Methodist Scholar at Hendrix College. I have known Wayne Clark, the chaplain, for many years. I think it is ridiculous (knowing him as I do) to think that he would ever intentionally offend anyone. He is not a radical liberal, and to suggest that he is undermines his strong character. I know what happened at Student Forum; he needed a lot of bread for the Communion service, and he just thought the bread looked cool. He had never seen it before. Of course, he didn't think about the repercussions of buying the cool bread. But I am outraged at this attack on his character. It is appalling to me that people of such moral fiber as the self-righteous people who post on this page question the word of someone who made a simple thoughtless mistake. Wayne Clark is someone to whom I look as a role model, and I will continue to consider him a wonderful mentor and friend. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to talk with him. After only a short time, he or she would discover how honest he is and how concerned he is with the feelings of others. Offensive is the last word that comes to mind when I think of him.
