.
I think the introduction was too long, and most people seeing Moore's film would not care if he is a socialist. Remember, Moore's audience is made up of people who get their news from sound bites and get their ideology from their favorite celebrities. These people have short attention spans and feel threatened by logical arguments. Moore's audience, and your flyer's audience, is made up of liberals who desperately want Moore's conspiracy theories to be true.
I believe Bush was against an Afghanistan oil pipeline, favoring another route, and Clinton was actually in favor of an Afghanistan pipeline. If you can verify that this is true, it would be good to mention in your flyer. Moore is implying that the war on terror is just a ploy where GWB can invest in oil pipelines in Afghanistan.
The Bin Ladin family is portrayed as being in the oil business, when actually they made their fortune in construction. I think your flyer should have more mention of such brief but fundamental errors. There are plenty of errors that are not subject to interpretation -- A one or two sentence explanation of many such errors is better than long elaboration about fewer errors.
Unfortunately, the gun rights quote at the end will frighten away sheeple who are afraid to question their beliefs.
[ ] Moore says the Bin Ladin family is in the oil business.
The Bin Ladin family is actually in the construction business.
The items should be numbered and listed in the order they appear in the film. They should mention only simple factual errors not easily subject to interpretation.
The checklist should be limited to a full page and be titled something like: CAN YOU IDENTIFY THE ERRORS IN FARENHEIT 9/11?
Of course, anything should be spell-checked!
Unocal discussed the possibility of a pipeline in 1999
Before Bush was in office
When Clinton was president
When the Taliban and the Terrorist ran Afganistan
When Clinton and businesses connected to Clinton (not Bush or Haliberton) would have benefitted
MM is committing a Lie by Omission...
Well, isn't that nice.
