Monica Lewinsky has told of her feelings of betrayal at the version of their affair given by Bill Clinton in his new autobiography.
The former White House intern attacked Mr Clinton's "lies" over the affair, exposed in 1998, seven months after he first denied the relationship. He was impeached but was acquitted.
In his book My Life, Mr Clinton writes of the affair: "I did something for the worst possible reason - just because I could. I think that's just about the most morally indefensible reason that anybody could have for doing anything."
But tonight Ms Lewinsky says in an ITV News interview: "I don't accept that he had to completely desecrate my character, which not only affected me but my family, my friends and my future.
"[It makes] me so angry when I think about how adamant I was early on in the investigation that, no, the responsibility was equal and it was two people.
"I just think ... 'Can't you just step up and correct the things that you did that were wrong?' How hard is that?"
Ms Lewinsky, now 30 and working as a handbag designer in New York, added: "It has been so difficult because of so many of the lies he has told about me."
Monica Lewinsky: My Side Of The Story will be broadcast on ITV News at 6.30pm tonight and at 11pm on ITV1.
I personally think I've heard enough from her in just this article.

Ping!
BTTT
Give that woman a cigar. Hmmmm!
Somehow I doubt she'd accept. ;)

I don't mean to downplay the odiousness of Slick Willie at al, but she sure does whine a lot for somebody who went to a married man's office to show him her underwear.

Yeah, I amm trying to figure out what her beef it. Did she want him to say that he did it because she was such a wonderful person, that the force of her personality and character blew him away into true love? Maybe she is just angry that she could have been anyone. Is that her beef?
"Lewinsky bites back at Clinton"
CNN) -- In his new memoir, former U.S. President Bill Clinton says his "inappropriate" encounters with Monica Lewinsky began when she claimed they did, during the government shutdown in November 1995.
That account contradicts his August 1998 testimony before a federal grand jury that investigated the case.

"Yeah, I amm trying to figure out what her beef it (sic)"
Her beef is this, she was a young woman, albeit a loose one, who really thought that the leader of the free world was interested in her for something other than playing hide the cigar and pleasuring him orally. Clinton could have said he was wrong to lead on an impressionable young woman and was sorry that her character (what was left of it) was destroyed.
Yes. Clinton gave her Walt Whitman's leaves of grass.
Maybe Lewinski is finally seeing him for what he is.
Dear God, they're exchanging blows again.
If Monica wanted to get even, she could publish another book on the affair or at least an article to contradict these lies.
No doubt it was hitlery who sent him out to do that bit of dirty work.
Bill Clinton? She's GOT TO BE KIDDING!
Monica discovers why character counts, film at 11.
"If Monica wanted to get even, she could publish another book on the affair or at least an article to contradict these lies."
Does anyone actually believe she would be safe after telling the WHOLE truth? I wouldn't be so sure.
Another sucker bites the dust.
Perhaps an infelicitous choice of words.
