Electoral College: Bush 304 Kerry 234
Washington Dispatch ^ | June 27, 2004

TWD Editor CK Rairden's take on politics around the nation

Early Summer brought another positive week for the president in the Page 2 Politics Electoral College scoreboard. President George W. Bush got good news from the states of Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. All four states flipped to the president in the latest polls available.

A FOX News Opinion Dynamics poll shows President Bush with a slight lead over John Kerry in the states of Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania. But in Michigan, Bush only leads with Ralph Nader on the ballot, and since it’s still unclear whether Nader will get ballot access in Michigan, it will remain in Kerry’s column for this week.

Wouldn't it be a scream to see THE BILLIONARE, Kerry, win the popular vote and Bush win the Electoral College, similar to what we saw four years ago...?

That would give stupid liberals (redundant, I know) the opportunity to continue to demonstrate, again, that they can conduct an entire Presidential election campaign and never school themselves on the rules. As if we needed another reason to declare them unfit to govern.

I wish all of you who read this a very happy Independence Day (remember when we used to call it that?).

Regards,

ATB

I'd rather see Bush win reelection with a clear majority in the popular vote and a crushing majority in the electoral vote.

I agree with you. I don't want it to be close either. I want a crushing victory. :o)

I'd rather watch the Democrats implode, and all the DUmmies on suicide watch, with an uncontestable solid popular majority for Bush.

Yah, I was about to say, I REALLY think him losing the popular vote again wouldn't be good. I'd take it over him losing both, but that wouldn't be a good situation.

Right on the money, the dims default position has always been, "he doesn't have a mandate" In 1960 Kennedy won a squeaker over Nixon and one reporter ask "how are you going to govern without a mandate? he answered, "I will govern just like I had one" and the press went ahead and gave it to him.

Not a big issue unless there is another court challenge.

I want a crushing victory.

I forget; is a "crushing victory" bigger than a "blowout", or is it the other way around?

I won't bet on Bush winning in Pennsylvania with Rendell as govenor. The guy so corrupt and over saw the 2000 election as mayor of Philadelphia, where over 100% of the voters in some districts voted. Philadelphia hired a man to write the computer programs for their voting machines who had already served time in another state for voter fraud. They sold the same machines and programs to Montgomery County and Gore won big in both areas despite an early lead for Bush. My guess is that Rendell will have those corrupt voting machines in more districts this election.

.

NEVER FORGET

It felt so good to see BUSH leading GORE by 5 percentage points in Polls 1 week before the 2000 Election...

that some BUSH Voters didn't think they needed to vote.

Last minute Democrat Tricks are always a danger...

especially in Time of War...

with an Enemy that is now...

just around the Corner and....

up our streets...

Big Time..?

NEVER FORGET

I am very pleased to see these numbers. I expect to see the trend continue for a rock solid lead, leaving no doubt what the MAJORITY of this country wants for leadership.

I don't understand it. There was a lot of talk, but no one did a thing. Rendell is like a mafia boss who stays in the background and runs everything his way. The new mayor is so smart, Street almost got caught, actually did get caught, but saved himself by playing the race card.

Vote for Kerry if you want more Black Hawk Down's, more Kenya embassy bombings, more Bali bombings etc etc.

That's what bothers me since I read yesterday that the Green Party has rejected Nader on their ticket.

This is great news. I just find it a little hard to believe with the unemployment what it is in OH and PA.
