SAN FRANCISCO The heavily Democratic San Francisco Bay area welcomed two of its political darlings Monday, with former President Clinton continuing his blockbuster book tour and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton headlining a campaign fund-raiser.
Joining other Democratic women senators at an event for Sen. Barbara Boxer, who's seeking re-election, Hillary Clinton told hundreds of party faithful to expect to lose some of the tax cuts passed under President Bush if Democrats take control in Washington next year.
"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Blocks away at San Francisco's historic Ferry Building, President Clinton promoted his best-selling "My Life," signing books for at least 3,000 people.
The Clintons followed largely separate schedules throughout the day, with Sen. Clinton heading south to Monterey for a public policy forum and her husband headlining a fund-raiser Monday evening for the American Himalayan Foundation.
On Tuesday, the former president and Arkansas governor will continue his book tour at several stops around the Bay Area and will be the star attraction at a fund-raiser for House Democrats.

Hillary Clinton
"From each according to his means, to each according to his needs."
Karl Marx
Hillary, say Hi to Walter "I will increase your taxes" Mondale.
Republicans, record this and John Kerries "I voted for the 87 Billion, before I voted against it". Play these often in your advertising.
Uncle Joe must be proud.
Forget Uncle Joe.
That's right of of Karl Marx's mouth, "From those who have to those who need"
That skanky Marxist b***h is a DANGER to the Republic and the capitalist system we're based on and an enemy to democracy world-wide.
An aside; I wondered how long it would take her to start spouting her marxist commie crap. I knew she couldn't keep it in forever.
Answer; Because they are Communists. They don't even try to hide it anymore.
Their 'new' tag, Progressive (in lieu of liberal), is right out of the playbook of Communist Party USA of the 1930's.
This statement should be an immediate career ender. We can't afford to have a U.S. Senator holding to socialist/communist views, much less openly verbalizing them.
She has the right to speak her views, just as we have the right to throw her the heck out of the Senate for this garbage.
I hadn't noticed that. Are they on Bill's arm or what?
The sad thing is that she's not just talking about tax cuts. She specifically said "we're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Well now that they are willing to admit, we must make it a shameful pastime.
Somehow, I can just imagine her suggesting "reeducation camps" for the population that cannot be forced to go along with her. If she did not have the support of so many fools, she would actually be a cartoon.
She undoubtedly needs to spend a year or more in a federal prison to give her an attitudinal adjustment.
I'm sure the red carpet is stained,
but that should make Bill right at home
and Hillary won't notice, what with her
head in the air or up her backside cavity.
Shessh! That's the ugliest bunch of women that I have ever seen. Why are Republican women, on the whole, much more attractive? Favoring liberal causes must be hell on the genomes.
It is noteworthy that no one is prohibited from returning their tax refunds to the government, or to make any voluntary donations.
"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Filthy, imbecilic democraps!
That is disgusting. I can't even contemplate a caption for that photograph.
On a brighter note, I visited a Barnes and Noble book store last night and noticed that someone had moved copies of "My Life" to the Sex section, right next to gems titled "Sensual Massage for Your Mate" and "Target: Orgasm."
Only Hitlery's closest confidents are permitted to see the tatoo.
Doughnuts, jellyrolls and eclaires on the nightstand, and they're not for the tooth fairy either.
So the Bitch of Kosovo isn't satisfied with being the faithful senator from New Yarkansas, eh? And Billy Goat won't keep his fat mouth shut either.
How this society spawned such evil people who destroy everything they touch and who are surrounded by corpses of people who knew things about them and yet, these people, continue to fawn over the likes of this national disgrace and scandal!
These are the same people, of course, that stand in long, long lines waiting to see Michael Moore's political hitman piece of GWB and the same who would stand in drenching rain waiting for the Pervert President to autograph their books.
The Clintons and their millions of worshippers are a national disgrace and are a source of much sorry and stomach cramps for us to continue to have to watch them prance across the stage of contemporary America never to go until it's time for them to be buried in their pit or crypt and begin their journey downward into the hell that surely awaits them....and all their freaking sycophants.

Felt like bumping this ;()LOL
Something to burn into your memory and pass along.
