Written like a uber-Liberal. WJC wasn't impeached because of some stain on a blue dress, he was impeached because he perjured on the stand, which should demonstrate to pointy heads like yourself that Presidents aren't above the law.

You missed my point entirely. Most big-L libertarians are NOT "true libertarians". All the big-L libertarians I've met just blather on endlessly how evil Bush and the Iraq war is... they are no different than liberals, only in that they care a heckvua lot more about their pot. I am myself very sympathetic to the Objectivist philosophy and I apologize for not making that clearer.

Well, when I used to smoke it, I liked it pretty damn well, too... but it didn't turn me liberal. Otherwise, we'd have to look askance at people like Newt Gingrich, William F. Buckley, and scores of ordinary American non-leftists who also partook of the "demon weed".

But I digress.

Never cared for Objectivism, m'self. I'm too busy being pessimistic about our future.

Nakatu X -

OK, I think most of us agree that Moore should not suffer censorship at the hands of the government. That is not to say, however, that there is no mechanism that can not be devised to at least muffle this son of a bitch. He, along with the bias of the liberal media, represent a clear and present danger to our country. The cumulative effects of a constant barrage of lies and half-truths take a tremendous toll over time.

It is possible to challenge Moore---and the liberal news media as well---by boycotting them. They may be leftists, but they still depend on a revenue stream. Just as the government is trying to go after the terrorists by cutting off their financial sources, American conservatives can do the same thing to the media. Take Disney Corporation, for example. They derive a lot of their income from conservative consumers. They also own ABC. If enough people boycott Disney, they will be forced to face the consequences of their actions---and the government is not even remotely involved in a process of this kind. So, how would a libertarian respond to this kind of approach. FYI, I was surfing the net recently and came across this idea on boycottdanblater.com.
