This is a prime example of why Hillary Clinton will never, ever, become President of the United States.
Her political tone deafness is her undoing, folks.
I know, I know.....many of the talking heads rant and rave, saying in effect "Hillary's Coming, Hillary's coming!".
History will show they are as wrong on this as the left is about the war on terror.

"As reported by the Associated Press, Sen. Clinton said, "Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you."
" We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
We will do it because we can.
"America to get back on track" hmmmm, Hillry admitting she got DERAILED.

Telling, huh? They don't see private property or finances. It's theirs to decide to give it to you or not.

Rush, Hannity, Boortz, et al. will no doubt be talking about this today. Love it that they have "staff lurkers" here.
This statement is the most chilling I've ever seen coming from a politician of any stripe.

Say what you will about her husband, he never would have uttered such a stupid sentence. She may be the world's smartest woman but when she talks it becomes apparent that she has no clue as to what the nation will accept.

OOPS! I think she just messed up big time. We tend to vote with our "pocketbooks" Who was the candidate that said he was going to be honest, and that he would raise taxes if elected? They have to lie to us, to win :')

Folks, this story and the link to the San Francisco newspaper article needs to saved by everyone and passed on via email, regular mail, phone callls, conversation, carrier pigeon, and whatever else it takes to alert our nation. The Democrats have admitted in public in an election year, that they plan on praqcticing Marxist socialism taking money away from those who earn money and give it to others.
If elected, the Democrats will raise taxes. Pass it on.

Liberalism in Democrat politics always pursues big government quasi-socialist ideals. No surprise here.

We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good. Quote:
The Results of Legal Plunder
It is impossible to introduce into society a greater change and a greater evil than this: the conversion of the law into an instrument of plunder.
What are the consequences of such a perversion? It would require volumes to describe them all. Thus we must content ourselves with pointing out the most striking.
In the first place, it erases from everyone's conscience the distinction between justice and injustice.
No society can exist unless the laws are respected to a certain degree. The safest way to make laws respected is to make them respectable. When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law. These two evils are of equal consequence, and it would be difficult for a person to choose between them.
The nature of law is to maintain justice. This is so much the case that, in the minds of the people, law and justice are one and the same thing. There is in all of us a strong disposition to believe that anything lawful is also legitimate. This belief is so widespread that many persons have erroneously held that things are "just" because law makes them so. Thus, in order to make plunder appear just and sacred to many consciences, it is only necessary for the law to decree and sanction it. Slavery, restrictions, and monopoly find defenders not only among those who profit from them but also among those who suffer from them.
