I'm 37 and was let out of the Navy 15 odd years ago. I'd go back in a heartbeat. but when I called they said I was too old :-( I hear you loud and clear. I am 38, 16 years out of the Coast Guard. However, I have been approached by our local CG Auxilary. It seems they are looking for volunteers to help out the full time coasties in our area with some watch patrol. I am looking into it.
If we were under a full scale attack and more men were needed, I would not hesitate. It would be difficult to leave my wonderful family. But it would be worth it.
