What he doesn't understand is that upon being reborn spiritually, nobody can take that spiritual rebirth away from the Christian. It's a gift from God and the work of the Holy Spirit. The reborn Christian is now a member of the royal family of God in this mystery Church Age never spoken before in Scripture prior to the Incarnation.
For every suffering while we remain in fellowship with God through faith in Christ, there is a blessing. The suffering may simply be another form of evidence testing on the Christian to display to all beings present how such faith will glorify God regardless the circumstance. This does not relieve evil doers or either responsibility or accountability for their behavior, but only emphasizes how much more graceful God is in still providing an opportunity for salvation, even to the evil doers up until they suffer their first death.
I pray she remain resolute in her faith with God through Christ so that she might be even further blessed eternally beyond the ability of any evil doer.
