From Mike Wilson... note: I have nothing to do with this film, so please, much as I love it, don't shower me with praise :) DO shower Mike Wilson with praise, though -- info@michaelmoorehatesamerica.com

NY, The Daily Show, Moore's attempt to hurt us, F9/11 and my silence.
First, I've received hundreds of emails in the last week or so from folks wondering when I am announcing a distributor. This isn't bad news, but just more of a delay We had a bit of a bidding war on our hands a few weeks ago, and selected a distributor to go with. After about a week of negotiations, we realized that there were some sticking points that we couldn't work out. Unfortunately, we had to walk away from that deal. No hard feelings, but we have to be comfortable with the deal we end up taking. On the bright side, we're finishing the film in the next week to 10 days, and will be selecting a distributor at that time. It's coming together nicely, and I believe this film will challenge our audiences to rethink documentary and will reinvigorate their passion for the possibilities that the United States offers us all. I know that many of you are waiting with excitement to find out when you can see the flick, and I understand your frustration. But we'll let you know when we have a deal that's great for everyone involved.
In that vein, I'm writing to you from a hotel room in midtown NYC. We spent the day shooting with two crews, ours and one from Comedy Central. We taped a piece for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I think it will turn out to be a fun little piece, but keep in mind that The Daily Show likes to take serious creative license with the folks who appear on the show. I did it, not because we need the attention (this thing has blown up in the last few weeks), but because I felt like it was a good chance to show people who don't quite get the satirical nature of our film that I have a sense of humor about this stuff. It's in good fun, and I played along. So don't get all pissy if they make me look like a jackass.
Aside from the interview, we talked to some folks on the street, and then headed over to Dog Eat Dog's listed address. Turned out to be a Mailboxes Etc. But I went inside and asked the chick at the desk if Mike ever came in to check his mail. She said that he sends interns. But, luckily, I had noticed that next door to the Mailboxes, etc, was a florist. So I bought a very special bouquet that just rang out, Congratulations on making $21million in two days, while also saying, Can we get that interview we've been requesting for a year and a half? I also called Dog Eat Dog and tried to set up an appointment, but the receptionist wouldn't transfer me. You'd think I was trying to get in to see a multimillionaire CEO oh, wait
We also spent last week in Michigan, talking to some nice folks from BfC, who were really hurt by Moore's actions and those actions will be revealed for all to see very soon. And fortunately, I was invited to a press screening of F9/11 a week ahead of the release. Those extra few days gave us an opportunity to start looking into some of the claims Moore makes, and more importantly, asserts. The fact that our rough cut runs long and that we're still shooting through the end of the week won't stop us from adding more stuff. We'll just be able to make a faster paced flick.
But back to happier news. Greg is diligently cleaning up the rough cut as we finish up the last of the shooting this week. This footage will be dropped into various spots that we've allowed for in the cut. It's been such a long few weeks. I am starting to understand why rock stars are usually nuts. They wake up in a different city every day, and are never quite sure where they are. I'm starting to feel that way. It will be good to get home where I can sleep in my own bed (granted, not for extended periods, as we'll be very f--king busy). And our two-time Academy Award winning Executive Producer (that's twice as many Oscars as Moore!) will be in town helping us finish the flick.
So we're almost there. We keep picking up momentum, and we're starting to make Mike Moore crazy, like a little mosquito buzzing around his ear that won't go away. I'm starting to have one hell of a lot of fun. But it will probably be a few days before I can check in again, as we're shooting a lot, and the media stuff is starting to take up a crapload of my time. Be well, and I'll write again soon.
Take care,

Stop posting this stuff... every knows this movie is a myth... Michael Moore said so!
LOL! Email the "myth" and cheer him on :)
I am not looking forward to the apperance on the Daily Show. I can only imagine the kind of editing and splicing they are going to do. Will likely rival Letterman's "Unfair edit" segment.
We really haver to mobilize and make it so that this film makes $20million its first weekend! Though that will be hard if it debuts in 8 theaters or so.
If we show enough interest and he gets the right distributor he should land this in 4-500 theaters minimum. At best he will pull in 600. I for one will be going to see it..and be recommending it to everyone.
We need to support this RIGHT-thinking entrepreneur!!!
We really have to mobilize - even if its not the #1 movie its week, we should see to it that it does a good showing, maybe buy 2 tickets each (that is, take a friend!)

Please hurry.......America needs to hear the truth about Moore!
Agreed, Jon Stewart is so far left, he will twist this terribly!
Did you see the episode where they sent some chic to a Dennis Kucinich house party? The man is a total loser, and his supporters are worse. Even the Daily Show had to make fun of him, his supporters and the house party. They really ripped into the house party people for producing a giant apology card to the people of Iraq for freeing them.
Hehe, what a fool he looks like now.
I'm doing everything I can to make sure this movie is a success. I'm telling everyone I know about it. I'm emailing theatre chains and asking them to consider carrying it.
It is also important that the radio personalities (Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingraham, etc.) pick up on this movie. Once they start talking about it, you know it will be a HIT!!!
Who is Moore kidding the guy doesn't look like he takes nature picture during his spare time. Republic is probably his favorite site to read.
Hey Moore if you are reading this, know this. You are not talented, you are a sell-out and you are a fraud.
P.S. I loved the Pearl Harbor moment in his worthless 911 terrorist movie. You know the Iraqi kids flying kites? That was in Peral Harbor right befor the Japanese attacked! Talentless Hack.
