...they had an interview with then Texas Governor Bush and in the the interview he used the s word which means excrement...I often wondered if his use of foul language in that interview was real or false.

In that region of the country many don't consider that word to be bad, and it rarely was used to refer to excretement.

It is a term of endearment "Ain't he a cute little s...". It is used as a term of amazement s......t!(must be drawn out). And it is used as a term to represent an accumulation of something "All that s..."

In Oklahoma I had high school teachers that used the word all the time, even ministers and doctors would use the term.

No. It was he used BS or some such. It was typical modern talk -- all too common.

My dear departed mother and my mother-in-law (who has also passed), both of whom were very religious women, cut loose with the s-bomb on infrequent occasions, and it's the only "cuss" word I ever heard out of either of them.
