Just got some scuttlebutt, top Gephardt aide Joyce Aboussie has been sent a private plane to join Dick Gephardt for....one can only assume the announcement that Dick Gephardt will be the next Vice President Nominee for the Democratic Party.
UPDATE: If Aboussie is being flown out and ordering staff to be ready for a change, it's hard to imagine that it is anything, but gearing up for an announcement that he is the VP nominee. He and Aboussie are incredibly close and she is his right hand. Unless this is a bit of disinformation, this is the real deal.

Gephardt has a Missouri rather than a Missourah accent. He's from St Louis. Both cannot be "correct."

Who has the pics of him walking in the queer parade a few years ago? His opponent ran an add with it until a Dick friendly judge ordered him to stop. It was killing him in the polls while it ran.

One of the potential VP candidates alledgedly attended the Bilderberg conference a month or so ago.... I think he has seven letters in his name....
Curious that he attended the parade in support of his daughter, after she gave up on Dick and decided she prefered Bush.

Well Whatever he has it sure sounds peculiar. Rush makes fun of him all the time when he says Warshington or Congriss. It might be a touch of Chicagoan. People insist that Terry Mcawful has a Midwestern accent,but it sounds strictly central New York to me,and it sounds nasal and icky just like where I came from. It takes on a really off-putting sound when Mcawfull opens his mouth to spew his hatred and lies with venom so sharp it makes your ears hurt.
Maybe not, but there is a definite St. Louis one with flat, nasel vowels and consonants in the throat. And the letter combination "or" is pronounced "ahr", hence why we always sound like we're praying to animal fat.
Guess it was not Dean. Must be Edwards. That is another hard to take accent,he sounds like an old hayseed,not a young 50ish Lawyer. He has lots of money to pay for a good voice coach.
They will run on a platform that they will save federal money one the first day by only having to replace 1/2 the writing on the office door of the Vice President.
Gephardt can't even run for the Senate from Missouri because he would not get elected. He serves in the House because he runs in the St. Louis (liberal) district. Most Missourians would love to drop him in the Mississippi River.
BBC Radio (on SIRIUS) just said that Kerry has picked Vilsack to be his v.p

Kind of like Al Gore, who said he was rocked to sleep to the Union Label Song as a baby....even though it wasn't even written until he was about 26 years old?
