Or they might be pulling a Clinton

Get the bad news out first in hopes people will forget about it later

And if anyone thinks the Clinton's didn't have a hand in picking Edwards ... think again

Ain't it amazing that George Bush is the poorest of the 4 folks on the two tickets?

Ouch! If the AP dropped this one on the day little Johnny was officially named, how does this bode for the rest of the campaign? Remember, back in '00 the media didn't protect Gore as much as they could have (and I'm sure knowing that the Internet and talk radio would dredge up the dirt, the mainstream presstitutes felt obliged to cash in), running the stories of his habitual lying, his mistreatment of the folks renting his slum property, his segregationist father, etc. This could get good!

It looks like the figures shown for Kerry include his wife's assets, which are not community property, right?

Yeah, right. And that SUV he rides is "owned by The Family."

Edwards' largest asset at the end of last year was an outstanding loan of more than $5 million to his Senate campaign fund

That's owed since 1998!!!

Don't you think Edwards knows what it's like to be poor?

Nope

His daddy may have worked in a Mill .. but it was in Management

Yes, because the campaign owes him the money, it's an asset.

Nicki, John Edwards didn't grow up starving to death; most of us in North Carolina had parents/relatives that worked in a mill at one time or another!

It's quite insulting to us for him to use this as such a derrogatory characterization of himself and his circumstances.

He went to two of the best universities this state has, just like MY family did.
