"There is only one "government document" that actually states that there is "A Separation of Curch and State". It is called the Communist Manefesto and was written by Karl Marx in the late 1800's."

So you see even Karl, after reading our Constitution, got it. Why can't you?

Karl didn't get it! One of the pillars of the Communist Manifesto was the destruction of God and religion. The ACLU is following in his footsteps. BTW, read what the Founding Fathers had to say about God. Many of them went to Divinity School.

My point is rather direct ...You hang a post out there that is supposed to lecture and educate FReepers with whom you disagree. The post itself is seflserving and biased and not founded in any theory of legal scholarship...so it is moot. Youo can post anything you desire no sweat to me. But be prepared for tin foil alerts and challenges because the post itself is meaningless. Our founding fathers had far better educations than you seem to be aware of...and today the "self taught" are not of the same stature as say a Franklin or Jefferson or the Adams brothers...You deliberately seem to miss the point that's fine but as I stated before I will not bother with anything more that you write.

"Many of them went to Divinity School."

And likewise many of them didn't. So does that mean they were atheist?

Incidentally, Al Gore went to divinity school.

What is your issue with the fact that the U.S. Constitution a.) Will not establish a state religion and b.) will not interfere with religous worship? It says NOTHING even resembling "The Separation of Church and State".

If you understood something about the history of this country, the founding, and philosophical post enlightenment thought, you would understand that the Constitution says volumes about the separation of church and state.

Seeing as how you, and many of the so-called advocates of freedom on this site, don't grasp the separation concept, that clearly answers the previous questions.
