Lily-White Democrat Ticket Angers Black Activists

The Democrat establishment loves to talk about "diversity," but its failure to practice what it preaches has black activists threatening to flee the party's plantation.

"Minority activists are unimpressed with the Democrats' new middle-aged-white-guys presidential ticket," the Boston Herald reported today.

"From city councilors to clergy, black community leaders charge that Sen. John F. Kerry's choice of Sen. John Edwards as a running mate fails to diversify the ticket ... ."

The black vote is "wide open," said the Rev. Eugene Rivers of National Ten Point Leadership Foundation.

"If Karl Rove makes a decision to mount a serious bid with a real proposal for the cities, we could see some de-alignments and realignments," he told the Herald. Kerry and Edwards have failed to make an "intellectually credible" case for the minority vote, he said.

Democrats' 'Terrorist Attacks' on Blacks

The Rev. Wayne Perryman says blacks should have given condescending, exploitative and vicious Democrats the boot long ago.

"For 150 years blacks were victims of terrorist attacks by the Democrats and their Klan supporters, including lynchings, beatings, rapes and mutilations," he writes in "Unfounded Loyalty: An In-depth Look Into the Blind Love Affair Between Blacks and Democrats."

Note that the only known ex-Klansman on Capitol Hill is Democrat Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia.

The Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, head of Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny and author of "Scam: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America," has long exposed the unsavory ties between the Democrat establishment and the likes of Jesse "Shakedown" Jackson.

As for the nation's largest ethnic minority, Latino activists are upset that Kerry didn't tap New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson to be his running mate. It was so embarrassingly obvious Richardson was out of consideration that, in a pre-emptive strike last week, he stage a sour-grapes photo op to announce he didn't want the job ... a claim he had already been uttering for weeks.

Certianly, they would never consider supporting an Administration with two prominent black members.

How much more can Bush do to attract minorities? His administration is well represented. He has provided more funding for Aids than anyone ever has. He has signed programs for minority home ownership. The list is an impressive on and the administration shouldn't be shy about making an ad going after the minority vote.

Not necessarily. Listen to them. They've been unhappy for a while now. This is our opportunity if we have the guts (and class) to seize it. We may not see another chance like this for a long time. Many blacks are unhappy for various reasons. They do NOT like their long civil rights struggle compared to sexual perversion. They LIKE the idea of vouchers. They are tired of not being asked to the top Democratic ticket when they have been so devoted to the party.

Last night, or the night before, Juan Williams was talking about this on Special Report.

He was saying that vouchers are a major issue in the black community, and education, and that the Dems are against them.

This was all during a Bill Cosby discussion. He said the black activists are coming out against Bill but that the people in the community are all behind him.

"Minority activists are unimpressed with the Democrats' new middle-aged-white-guys presidential ticket," the Boston Herald reported today.

MINORITY ACTIVISTS HAVE ATTACKED COLIN POWELL AND CONDI RICE AS "UNCLE TOMS".

"From city councilors to clergy, black community leaders charge that Sen. John F. Kerry's choice of Sen. John Edwards as a running mate fails to diversify the ticket ... ."

CITY COUNCILORS TO CLERGY, BLACK COMMUNITY LEADERS HAVE REFERRED TO POWELL AND RICE AS "UNCLE TOMS".

The black vote is "wide open," said the Rev. Eugene Rivers of National Ten Point Leadership Foundation.

NO, ITS NOT NOW, NOR WILL IT BE IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.

"If Karl Rove makes a decision to mount a serious bid with a real proposal for the cities, we could see some de-alignments and realignments," he told the Herald. Kerry and Edwards have failed to make an "intellectually credible" case for the minority vote, he said.

NO MENTION OF BLACK LEADERS ROUTINELY REFERRING TO POWELL AND RICE AS "UNCLE TOMS".

Sorry about the "caps"...really wanted to make a point.

I'd have to agree.

Bush placed highly qualified persons such as Rice & Powell in positions of true leadership. Who did Clinton employ in his cabinet - just Ron Brown?

Gee. talk about Deja Vu all over again! These yahoo's drag out this same Whine ever election, piss all over the carpet for a couple weeks, get tossed a bone by the campaign, and end up voting like the good little puppies they are.

Call me when one of the race-baiters ACTUALLY votes for someone other than a Democrat. Hasn't happened, won't ever happen, and The DNC KNOWS IT!
