Americans, Moore told The Daily Mirror in London, are "the dumbest people on the planet. We don't know about anything that's happening outside our country. Our stupidity is embarrassing." Yet he's the one who's come up with the hickiest, most parochial thesis imaginable.....

Steyn makes an exellent point in this one: The war will not end if Bush is defeated. Despite all the idiot rhetoric, Kerry will have to persue much the same policies as Bush.

The real question is whether Kerry will piss away the strategic and tactical advantage he will inherit from the neocons by attempting to engage a toothless NATO or UN in some PR campaign of 'inclusiveness'.

The French and Germans (and the rest of Old Europe)will make nice noises about a new day and multilateral cooperation but will still NOT be able to contribute anything of significance to the WOT.

My bet is if Kerry is elected, he WILL piss away any advantage we have gained in blood and treasure and will insure that we have to engage in a much wider war with much greater loss of life, both our own and the enemy's.
