Amazing. Much of our budget shortfall can be traced to the impact of illegal immigration in California and our public officials want to make it even worse. A bill that would have repealed an in-state tuition benefit for illegal alien students was voted down by the State Legislature here. Our political class certainly has its priorities in order and ensuring our borders are protected doesn't seem to be among them.

there was a big article in the Daily News reporting that middle age workers who were applying to CSUN for course to retrain them were being shut out. If you already have a degree, you are being turned away, to keep room for the illegals.

Sad but true! How long will the majority of Americans who oppose out-of-control immigration remain ignored?

I am listening to Stephen Moore from the Club for Growth on Medved's show right now with the 2 of them playing badmitton back and forth about how great immigration is in the most vague, baseless rants, while attacking "the right wing" for opposing it. Moore is sent forth as a Bush attack dog often, kind of a 527 for the GOP, but he's always been a huge embarrassment given what a total dork he is. More importantly, his rationalizations are dangerous to the GOP cause.
