This should be good. I can just hear the press now, talking about alleged weapons finds...meanwhile, President Bush is on location with the goods!

No, I have not.

But I did hear that the Dems are saying that Ridge had his press conference today to take away from Kerry picking Edwards.

Not until now... maybe this will be the time that he lays out in a public speech all the WMD's we've been finding?

The public will never know about it unless he annouces the info in a way that the media gatekeepers can't filter out...

The only way for Bush to get to the people is to have a news conference and demand all networks cover him.

Bush visit to Oak Ridge in works Plans for president to speak at ORNL may be announced today

By FRANK MUNGER, munger@knews.com July 9, 2004

OAK RIDGE - There are tentative plans for President Bush to visit East Tennessee on Monday and speak at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where some of the nuclear materials recently airlifted from Iraq are in storage, officials familiar with the planning said Thursday.

One official, who asked not to be identified because plans are not yet firm and haven't been approved by the White House, said an announcement on the Bush visit could come sometime today. More than a dozen Secret Service agents and other members of the advance team were reportedly at the government's Oak Ridge facilities Thursday to map out possible activities.

...Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham this week announced that about 1,000 highly radioactive sources from Iraq had been brought to a DOE facility for storage and analysis. Those sources are being stored at ORNL, where nuclear experts are evaluating their content, one official said.

The Democrat Party establishment of course has to place blame for Kerry's minuscule bump in the polls following his panic-stricken pick for VP. After all, it couldn't possibly be that most of the populace understands that Kerry is a dead carp rotting at the shoreline and that one might as well throw a boat anchor his way to save his arse, let alone half-baked flim-flam man like Edwards.

They must know that not even the combined weight of the entire "old media" will be enough to breathe life into this political carcass. Exhibit one: At least 1,000 pix of Kerry fondling Edwards on a variety of body parts, while all of the positive news of the economy and Iraq continue to go unreported.

IMO, evil of this magnitude will NOT go unresolved by God Almighty.

They are so predictable. They assume that everyone else does things the way they do, with hidden motives. So, because they are incapable of telling the truth, they assume no one else is either.

How about in his Presidential debate opening statement?

I think W should carry a lead-shielded container of it into the debate hall, put it next to Kerry's lectern, and then just after the debate starts, walk over and remove the lead shielding, and say, "this is some of the radioactive material we found in Iraq, but if you don't believe me senator, just keep standing there to prove it."

Disgusting. They should give thanks for anything that detracts the public's attention from John Kerry.

I am sure though, that as soon as W tells us about the nuke materials, that some lefties will scream "he planted it there" and crap like that. However, it should still help us. There are a faction of Dems that wouldn't believe Bush if he said the sky was blue, but the middling fence-sitters may well be convinced.

EXACTLY. The Prez must keep all of this before the American people. He has the Bully Pulpit of the Presidency; he might as well use it. I think he should make an address to the nation once every two or three weeks.
