While the use of condoms is helpful, I wish the govt and medical authorities would be more forthcoming about condom failures.

Condoms prevent pregnancy only 86-98% of the time when they are used correctly. And that is with the knowledge that most women only ovulate once per month with only a few days window in which they can get pregnant.

With STD's, you can contract it every single time you have sex. If the failure rate for pregnancy prevention is 86-98%, I wonder what the true failure rate for "safe" sex" is?

What is a condom failure? Is that just when the thing breaks into shreads?

The Aids virus is much smaller than the natural pores in a condom....no use at all in prevention, claims to the contrary notwithstanding.
