Others point out that the last presidential election was a sham.

LOOOOOSER!!!!!

It always comes back to Florida 2000 with these whiney bums. We are SO going to win this November.

I'm going to throw out an opinion that I haven't really seen (not that I've gone looking for it).... and will probably be controversial:

My opinion on that "sham" election is that I blame BOTH the Republicans and Democrats for not having a candidate that could have a CLEAR WIN. I don't really care whether Bush "stole" the election or if Gore "won the popular vote" or any of that crapola. What I care about is that it NEVER should have been close enough to have to worry about (I mean complain about) who really won in the first place.

Whomever is our President (and I'm praying that it's Bush again!), I would hope that a clear majority of people would want him as our President. I'm just sorry that it wasn't more obvious that it should have been Bush and not Gore. And I'm praying that this time around, it is MUCH more obvious that it should be Bush and not Kerry.
