They evacuated that hotel and I never could find any follow-up to that story in any publication.

Nor could I find a followup, but I worked at a department store about 2 blocks up from the Hotel. 69 people went to emergency rooms. There were MANY more who were very ill, and just went home. They were from New Jersey- a mortgage company- having meetings at Loew's. The day before this, a group of Republicans had been meeting there, and GWB had spoken to the group briefly. Several of that group became ill, as well.
