I'm very uneducated about this issue, but always had a gut feeling we were rushing in to save the 'tribes and bribes' crowd of lawless drug and people smugglers, otherwise known as Arabs, who had become too radical and too fecund to be tolerated in a lawful society. Thanks for the article.
One has to wonder about the Democratic Party's agenda. Two weeks ago, in a photo essay on the Sudan tragedy, Newsweek stated that the both the opposing factions were "mostly Muslim". Downplaying religion is one thing, but outright lies are another.

Holbrooke Seen As Top Kerry Pick
"No one is picking out their curtains yet, but speculation about who might fill the top foreign-policy positions in a John Kerry presidency already is intense," the Los Angeles Times reports.
Early handicapping focuses on three names for Kerry's Secretary of State: Former U.N. Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) and former Clinton National Security Advisor Sandy Berger.
"Several Democrats close to Kerry place Holbrooke, 62, now vice chairman in the same private-investment firm as James Johnson, the director of Kerry's vice-presidential search, as the foreign-policy thinker the Massachusetts senator looks to first."
