I guess I've got my guys confused, but whoever was on O'Reilly was claiming that unless Bush came to their meeting, how else could they know what his views were?
How about reading?! Surely Bush's positions are written somewhere?!
Bill pointed out they'd referred to Bush using the terms terrorist, Taliban, swastika, and Mfume's response was, 'Yeah, I know, but nobody's going to like you all the time. If you can't take some criticism and you're running for president, you just shouldn't get out of bed!'
Those terms are 'criticism'?? And Bill let him off.
I tell you who's not an ass-kisser though...Greta van Susteren on Fox ripped into Gingrich this week, and the next day another anchorbabe at Fox did the same, interupting, rude. What's their dislike of him all about?
Gingrich was pointing out that Bush/Cheney will handle the campaign like businessmen, but John/johns will handle it like trial lawyers: they'll have a different perspective, they just want to win. Greta got all upset, saying she was a trial lawyer before and it's a respectable job and ripped into him. He came back saying No, lawyers just want to win for their clients, right? She had to shut up.
Greta neglected to say that her husband, a lawyer, is working for Kerry.
