RADIO CITY DISGRACE: KERRY'S CELEBRITY PALS
New York Post - Letters ^ | 7/13/04

July 13, 2004 -- Another John Kerry fund-raiser Thursday night that was filled with the same old President Bush-bashing ("Dirty Trick — Lewd Whoopi bashes Bush," July 9).

[snip}

The fact that John Kerry and John Edwards laughed along with the filthy language and degrading performances tells us something about these men.

The only thing the Democrats raised at the Radio City concert Thursday night was an awareness that liberals have absolutely no class.
Maureen Scanlon
Staten Island

In The Post's coverage of the Democrats' gala at Radio City Music Hall, the Bush campaign spokesman criticizes the "vitriol and venom" of those opposed to Bush.

But where was his outrage when Dick Cheney used a vile obscenity on the floor of the Senate, directed against one of its Democratic members?
Scott Stebbins
Manhattan

[snip]

We should not be surprised by what occurred at the Kerry fundraiser.

Going back to the Clinton days, these events are usually profanity-laced.

Typically, the hosts sit back, smile, offer thanks and take the check.
Stewart Lara
Manhattan

Dear Scott:

The same place it was when John Kerry used the F word in GQ Magazine.

AND HE WASN"T ON THE FLOOR OF THE SENATE; it was at a photo session!

These left-leaning, foul-mouthed Bush-bashers are the same individuals who chronically whine about their so-called "tolerance and compassion."

They are as phony as a three-dollar bill.

They've debased and degraded our culture to an abysmal low, pampering and cosseting every depraved creep, criminal and pervert on the map. They see government as a giant tax-sucking machine to subsidize the self-esteem of marginal types who contribute nothing to the culture.

"Party of the people" my Aunt Tilly. Lefty Dumbocrats are the party of the Aberrant Culture.

The NY Post today also has a small article titled " GOPers want Whoopi's "Fast" exit" naming Free Republic as one of the Republican activists trying to get Whoopi fired from Slim Fast. It ends saying the president of Slim fast is F. Daniel Abraham who is a major democratic donor who with his wife has given 1.2 million to defeat Bush.
