I know many who plan to stay home because they feel there's no choice. Others plan to vote third party in protest.

I recommend the latter choice if they feel that strongly against Bush. That way, at least they plan to vote, so that they can vote against Sen. Boxer (for the boring and unmotivating Bill Jones) and against the bond issuances and tax propositions.
