LITTLE ROCK - The sophisticated methods of terrorists and those who are supportive of Al Qaeda has been highlighted a new when Al Qaeda operatives, it was discovered, were using a file transfer protocol (FTP) website and band width, authorized by the state of Arkansas.
According to reports the state unknowingly allowed its FTP site to be used to access and download files and propoganda advocating Al Qaeda violence against the United States.
According to the reports an Al Qaeda sympathizer known only as "terrorist 007" was posting the material from July 9 until yesterday morning when first discovered by Laura Mansfield of the Northeast Intelligence Network.
Among the postings were copies of the Nick Berg beheading, messages from top Al Qaeda leaders including Osama bin Laden, and a file titled 'AMERICAN HELL IN IRAQ'. The files were all located on a server used by the Arkansas Department of Highways.
Earlier this year "terrorist 007" was observed distributing similar material via the free servers at George Washington University.

Nothing new here, just another "Friend of Bill".
Hillary!
It's USA gift to the world, andd well boot you off-line faster than you can say ping flood.
I'm not surprised they used the Arkansas Highway and Transportation department servers. The administrators in charge of those machines are incompetent.
Who knew that, had Willie not been paid to protect OBL, Willie could easily have prevent 9-11 and the deaths of 3000 folks in NYC. Well, at least it's easy to see what the dems don't want any examination of this. It would also prove that Monica was simply a diversionary cover up to hide the long term relationship between Willie, Saddam and Osama.
Stranger than fiction BTTT.
If they can get FTP access, can they also sabotage the system?
Do you mean they have moved into Arkansas as well now? If so, then that's another new one that's not on this map.

I am the Associate Director and Senior Analyst with the Northeast Intelligence Network. In that capacity, I do a considerable amount of
radio commentary on Al Qaeda and terrorism. Because I speak fluent Arabic, I spend a significant amount of time reading and translating
communications on the Arabic language forums used by terrorists and their supporters.
For some time, we have been tracking a self-proclaimed US based terrorist known on various terrorist web sites as "Terrorist 007." This
person previously used the servers at George Washington University to disseminate terrorist related information and propaganda.
During my appearance on the popular syndicated radio program America at Night early today, I located a message pertaining to
terrorist files on the terrorist forum that was first to host the now infamous Nicholas Berg beheading video. The message was located at:
http:// www. ansarnet. ws/ vb/ showthread. php? t= 11264
Unless already disabled, this link displays a list of Jihad video and audio files. Further investigation revealed that these files are
located on the website of the Arkansas Department of Highways and Transportation, meaning that the security of the Arkansas state
operated website has been compromised. Additionally, the state of Arkansas is incurring the high cost of tremendous bandwidth charges in
the dissemination of this material as a result of this security breach.
Unless it has been disabled through our notification of authorities, a sample link of the hosted material can be found here:
ftp:// www. ahtd. state. ar. us/ incoming/ GIS/ ALQA3EDAH/ 3en_azzam2. mp3
Further, a large number of al Qaeda produced files (primarily in the directories or folders named ALQA3EDAH and 007) can be accessed
here: ftp:// www. ahtd. state. ar. us/ incoming/ GIS/

12 July 2004; 10: 00 am EDT Investigation found that a self-proclaimed US based
terrorist and al Qaeda's "Mujahadeen," known to analysts and authorities by the Internet
name "Terrorist 007", has compromised the security of a website maintained by the State
of Arkansas as illustrated in the above computer screen capture. As a result of this
security breach, the web site operated and maintained by the Arkansas State Department
of Highways and Transportation is currently being used to disseminate a number of
terrorist audio and video files from the Arabic language forum of the Ansar al Sunnah
Supporters. The files, presently linked to a FTP server at www. ahtd. state. ar. us have had
limited distribution to date because of their heavy bandwidth demand and the high costs
associated with such bandwidth use. These costs are now unwittingly being incurred by
the state of Arkansas.
Upon discovery of this situation at 3: 20 this morning, the Northeast Intelligence Network
notified the proper federal and state authorities.
For additional information, please consult the Northeast Intelligence Network
website at www. HomelandSecurityUS. com or Laura Mansfield, Associate Director and
Senior Analyst at the above E-mail address.

Thanks for posting this, Calpernia!
Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Good job on the map. I think that should be front page news in all the newspapers in this country. People need to know -- this stuff is not for the faint hearted.
Those that wish to ignore the threat to our country need to be bombarded with what is actually going on in our country. It is not being politically incorrect, it's called being INFORMED!
Your humorous take on this is so realistic, it is difficult for me to really laugh.
ping!
I sent it to several emails at Fox News. So far, I haven't heard it talked about on any of their programs. Maybe they do not want to start mass panic?

You sure have that right. So, every time I see a terrorist thread, I post that map. I wish everyone would see it!
Ping-a-ling-a-ling!
Arkansas calling...
