I don't know who's involved or what it cost, but I do know that the ayatollah's are not doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.

It's all part of the mullahs' "cheat/retreat" strategy as it relates to nukes. Do something brazen, and then act as though you are trying to help the US. We might have let them know that we'll be far more likely to restrain the Israelis from bombing those nuke plants if they cough up some Al Qaeda biggies.
