The facts were actually even more dangerous than this because - recalling DCI's testimony before congress - sources close to Saddam, both before & then after the war, confirmed Saddam held a meeting of his top nuclear scientists right before the war and berated them because - here he was on the potential brink of war with the US and HE STILL DID NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR BOMB (to use against us).

While the Senate Intelligence Committee concluded on Friday...
I'm scratchin my head re: the Senate Intel Committee report. Is this S. Rept. 107-351 and H. Rept. 107-792 ?

If so, it's dated December 2002. Have not new facts come to light since then ?

"The IC's bias was compounded by the fact that prior to 1998, the IC had become heavily dependent on UN information on the state of Iraq's WMD programs."

Things that make you wonder why the general public is so incapable of connecting the dots.

Why don't we count all of the scientists and engineers as WMD's discovered and captured?

After all, a single one of that group with all their know-how in the hands of any country or group is on par with their posession of constructed weapons themselves. Look at how many of them were working in Libya. I trust there is a program silently taking place in Iraq to deal with these 'weapons' we already have.
