Newsweek Assistant Managing Editor Evan Thomas admits Media wants kerry to win.

MR. THOMAS: There's one other base here, the media. Let's talk a little media bias here. The media, I think, wants Kerry to win and I think they're going to portray Kerry and Edwards I'm talking about the establishment media, not Fox. They're going to portray Kerry and Edwards as being young and dynamic and optimistic and there's going to be this glow about them, collective glow, the two of them, that's going to be worth maybe 15 points.

Is Evan Thomas moonlighting for some teen magazine?

Right on! Good to hear! 15 points at least. I say 20. Heck, make it 30*.

Anything less will be soooooo disappointing. Heh heh heh.

* Obviously this is hyperbole. But anything that raises expectations and depresses turnout is a vey good thing.

If they have such a diminished role, then why do we make such a fuss about them and their agenda?

They're still the primary information source for far too many ears and eyes, even if their influence isn't what it once was.

It is particularly good to know that the Lib media has been apprised to carry the well coached/orchestrated, Kerry-Edwards love fiction to the max as well.

But convincing America that these are the 'sunshine boys'. . .has to be up there with making 'pigs fly'. . .

. . .what would this party do without their 'smoke and mirrors?

Good catch. John Edward is the slick, telegenic phony who asks to get messages from the dead. John Edwards is the slick, telegenic phony who asks to get votes from the dead.

A little confusion is understandable.
