Some months ago, a freeper stated that the trigger on these devices had a shelf life of 60 days.

Any comments?

I agree. I have a hard time believing that UBL (who's probably dead anyway) has 20 suitcase nukes (another article on Newsmax said six, but who's really counting?), while Iran is feverishly trying to develop their own bomb. The reason Iran wants the bomb is so they can drop it on Israel at the earliest possible moment. Why doesn't Iran simply buy a suitcase nuke from al-Qaeda? The whole notion is ridiculous.

The answer to the poster's questiond, "Why isn't the information widely publicized?", is probably, "Because it's not true."
