WASHINGTON -- "When Clinton lied, nobody died."
So goes the mantra of the Bush-lied crowd, who are loath to surrender their rhyming couplet even in the face of contrary evidence.
The sidewalk slogan refers, of course, to President Bill Clinton's lies under oath about whether he had sexual relations with "that woman" and President George W. Bush's alleged lies about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.

It seems that the Democrats have taken a couple of pages from the German Nazi Party playbook:
1. The bigger the lie, the easier it is for people to believe.
2. The lie repeated often enough becomes a "fact".
It's a strategy folks.

"When Clinton lied, nobody died." The Clinton administration told us that 100,000 Kosovars had been killed by the Serbs. That was the premise for war against the Serbs. That was an utter lie, and the evidence to the contrary was available at the time.
Do people who use this line not count dead Serbs?

He also told the American people that our troops would be there no longer than 12 months.

We're just going to have to accept the fact that about 40% of America has been successfully indoctrinated by the left in one way or another, and they will believe anything they are told regarding the rest of us. It's nearly a mental disorder. Now all we have to do is deprogram them, and failing that we must try to keep them from voting (make them disinterested in voting). Last resort: Release the Black Helicopters to take them to internment camps for national security reasons. Just kidding. NOT!!

The Soviet Union "fell". Communism did not. Anyone who thinks communism is dead is a fool.

I will spend my entire life trying to understand the Liberal mind
I have found Eric Hoffer most helpful in my qwest.
"To the frustrated, freedom from responsibility is more attractive than freedom from restraint. They are eager to barter their independence for relief from the burdens of willing, deciding and being responsible for inevitable failure. They willingly abdicate the directing of their lives to those who want to plan, command and shoulder all responsibility."
