Maybe if Ms. Sarandon can fit it into her busy schedule, she can visit the man who raped and murdered my cousin's daughter two years ago. His trial is still dragging out, so she could even get a courtside seat on the defense side.

Then she could look me in the eye, and tell me how she sleeps at night.

This woman has no soul.

too bad Sarandon isn't going to be executed as well...

Your remark is extremely inappropriate

I don't particularly like the death penalty...

You got to be joking. Either you agree with it or you don't. I might say I didn't particularly like pistachio ice cream, but the death penalty?

So very sorry for your loss. I do hope there will be justice despite the fact that nothing will ever make the pain go away.

You can see the line move down here.

Bush's last 2 years as governor saw 35 and 40 executions respectively. Perry's first year saw 17. After 33 the next year, the count dropped to 24 last year. The first 6 months of this year - only 10. Nine are on the list for the entire rest of the year. (some of those will probably drop out of line, and a few more may be added.)

She won't have to worry about the DP if hanoi john gets elected, his black robe tyrants will declare it unconstitutional. He's anti-dp, and promises a moratorium on it at the federal level...which means even if we caught OBL we couldn't execute him.

I'm just sitting here thinking that my wiener dog, who at this moment is eating cat turds out of the litter box, is an intellectual giant compared to this Hollywood mush brain Sarandon.

This is a grievous insult to cat turds everywhere, Sir.

Perhaps you might want to avoid running for statewide office in Texas. Even a liberal democrat won't campaign against executions.

Some background:

My cousin, who was like a little sister to me, and I started our families about the same time. Her oldest daughter was a very sweet and trusting young woman. She had tried to help the man who murdered her turn his life around. And she paid the price for her kindness.

The murderer left her 2 years old son, in his carseat, all alone to die from exposure or worse, at the murder scene. By the grace of God, a couple men looking for a spot to fish found him the next morning. They called the sherrif's dept, and found Stephie's body nearby. Her son is a healthy, thriving little boy now.

It took months to catch the murderer, only after the case was highlighted on America's Most Wanted was he captured. He was serving a sentence in Canada for B and E, so it took awhile to get him back here.

The trial is going on as we speak. His attorney was arguing for him to be able to wear a suit and tie instead of the prison orange uniform, and the prosecution won that one. For my cousins sake, and sanity, I just hope the trial doesn't drag on too much longer. The DNA evidence is there, but his attorneys (how he can afford 2, I have no idea) are pulling out all the stops.

I wonder what Ms. Saranwrap would say if her child or family member were killed??? Would she visit the killer in jail? Would she demand no execution take place??? Oh wait....she would most likely blame the police for not keeping the killer off the streets.....
