I will never get tired of seeing this story posted.
Every time this crossed my mind today...I just smiled!
So much for Kerry's idiotic theory that Hollywood represents the heart and sole of America...
Guess ole Whoopi will just have to settle for Oprah's rotating weight diet.

This action puts the perfect spin on Kerry's fundraiser and will keep this controversy in the news for a few more days, maybe.

At the very least, Whoopi's firing signals that something very wrong went on, and we know that Kerry had only good things to say about everyone on stage. It's amazing, Howard Dean, Al Gore, Michael Moore, and now Whoopi Goldberg--welcome to the Wacko-side of the Democratic party.

Honestly, add to this the implication that Hillary is upset at being passed over--though I don't think she really wanted to be associated with the Kerry campaign--well, now she's got the perfect excuse to "damn him with faint praise" and not work hard for him either. The Kerry campaign can't land a glove on Bush because they are knocking themselves out of the ring everytime you turn around.

I said before that the favorable coverage of Kerry to keep this a "horserace" would only last so long. When it stops working, like now, then the media will turn on Kerry-Edwards and make them a joke. I saw CNBC do a great interview (from the Today show?) of Laura Bush--she looked and spoke so very well. Then they had a five-minute interview with the Vouge reporter that interviewed the Bush girls. This reporter was so complimentary of them and their parents.

Nine of the top ten news shows are on Fox. I'm seeing more balance on the other news networks that have to compete. It's not a lot of movement but it's definitely there.
