I think I'll wait to see what www.factcheck.org has to say about the ad first.
Why not just check with your guru, Michael "The Beast" Moore?
There are only two facts to check in this ad:
Fact 1: Kerry voted against parental notification for teenage abortions.
Fact 2: Kerry even voted to allow schools to hand out the morning after pill without parents' knowledge.
Frankly, I would be shocked if both of these statements were not true. Of course John Kerry voted for these bills. If you want to presume otherwise, that is your business, but John Kerry has been one of the most reliable supporters of Abortion in the Senate since he was first elected.
It makes me think that your purported desire to check the facts is more like a desire to blunt and effective attack.
You wouldn't be a leftist, now, would you??
John Kerry is the most liberal member of the U.S senate and he is the most supportive of abortion.
America will not elect the most liberal man to ever run for President. America will not elect John Kerry.
You are a troll and you time on FR is up.
AD FACT
VOICE OVER: "When it comes to issues that affect our families, are John Kerry's priorities the same as yours? Kerry voted against parental notification for teenage abortions."
BACKGROUND
Kerry Voted Against Requiring Parental Notification For A Minor's Abortion. (S. 323, CQ Vote #131, Adopted 52-47: R 38-5; D 14-42, 7/16/91, Kerry Voted Nay)
AD FACT
VOICE OVER: "Kerry even voted to allow schools to hand out the morning after pill without parents' knowledge. He voted to take control away from parents by taking away their right to know. John Kerry has his priorities. The question is, are they yours?"
BACKGROUND
Kerry Voted To Allow Federal Money To Be Used To Distribute The Morning-After Abortion Pill In America's Schools. (H.R. 4577, CQ Vote #169: Motion Rejected 41-54: R 6-48; D 35-6, 6/30/00, Kerry Voted Yea)
Kerry has "earned" the most liberal Senator title for a reason - it's for votes like these.
There are no facts to "check" in this ad. It's straightforward.
"I think I'll wait to see what www.factcheck.org has to say about the ad first."
I've checked their "facts" on some of their reports which were inaccurate, and they sent back red-herring responses. I replied, and they never responded again.
I don't visit their site anymore.
