I agree. The two leads were the only people that compelled me to watch the show. I was a fan of William Petersen before he was on this show (Watch him in MANHUNTER remade into RED DRAGON.)

I actually know George Eads. Well, sort of. His sister was a classmate of mine in high school. His dad was the District Attorney for the county, his mom taught me French in high school. Of course, the last time I saw him he was playing football in junior high...
Bummer 'bout the loss of income..

Jorja Fox's character was busted for DUI on the season finale. Easy enough to script her going home and blowing her brains out.

I'm certain he's more successful as an investor than he was as a screenwriter
Hey, don't dis any form of cinematic excellence from the master, Ted V. Mikels! The scene with the solar-powered zombies running around with flashlights to their heads at night is brilliant! You probably didn't like The Black Klansman or The Corpse Grinders either.
Yes, all those hours in my youth watching the Bowman Body and "Shock Theatre" have left their scars...

As long as Marg Hellgenberger's still there, I'm still watching.

I think George Eads plays Evil Knievel in a miniseries coming up soon. TV mini. Pretty sure that was him on the promos.

But they still showed up to work on time on "I Love Lucy!"William Frawley had it in his contract that he didn't have to work when the Yankees were in the World Series. Back then, that amounted to a lot of time off. (7 of 9 years)

Wayne Rogers is a multi-millionaire businessman now. He's regularly on the FOX news Wall Street Show. Glad to hear it--though OTOH, as a fan of really bad movies, Rogers's not returning to scriptwriting is a loss; anyone who could co-write The Astro-Zombies clearly has a talent! :)

That was another stupid move by CBS.

CSI script, season five all, episode one all:"Turn out most of the lights on the set so that the 'investigatin' is done mostly in the dark....."
"Keep eye contact to a a minimum..."
"Have the forensic science people interact with suspects...."
Why is this (and all of it's spinoffs) touted as being even CLOSE to 'reality'?
ARRGH!!!!

Wow. This was a "brilliant" career move. Eads character was busted for DWI/DUI in the season finale and the other guy got the promotion but there was no budget for him to actually take it. Both characters were set-up to "move on" and they pulled this. I have never like the Sara character. Whine, whine, whine.
Peterson and Marge are the stars. I know Peterson's contract ends after this coming season. I *hope* they convince him to stay on. Gil rocks! And, actually, I totally *agree* with him about the spin-offs: they'll never be as highly rated as the original, the casts lack chemistry and they dilute CSI.
For the Miami spin-off, I can't abide the blond everytime she opens her mouth it's like chalk on a blackboard. I *do* like the M.E., though. And Caruso was interesting on NYPD Blue (he left and so did this viewer) but the character of Horatio needs to be shot, stabbed, garotted, dismembered, burned and fed to the gators.

Oops. Fox's character was busted for DUI/DWI. Not Eads. I don't watch for them anyway. I like Gil.

Just give the blond on CSI Miami anything she wants, I'll chip in if needed.
I think she went topless in that movie, "Breasmen". Nice!

I'll have to check it out. She's a North Carolina girl, E. Carolina
University student.
Nobody can make a white pair of slacks look better than when
she is on the firing line wearing same.

Well dammit....
CSI is one of the only shows I occasionaly watched, and I liked those two actors. Too bad.
To: newzjunkey
Billy Peterson is an amazing actor. They were lucky to get him. If you've seen him as the police psychologist stalking the serial killer in Manhunter you'll see why he makes it look it easy. I like CSI principally cause you can solve a puzzle the way the forensic scientists do and figure out who the bad guy is. The show should be subtitled, "Scientists Catch Crooks."
