Brilliant move by the actor & actress involved -- just ask McLain Stevenson, Wayne Rogers, David Caruso & Suzanne Somers.

David Caruso stars in CSI Miami, and Suzanne Somers is a mulit-millionaire selling exercise equipment and videos. I don't know about the other two.

But I disagree with you. CBS just jumped the shark by letting these two people go, plus they're killing the franchise by making two duplicates (CSI Miami and CSI New York). It's very hard to find the right people in a popular series, especially replacements. Viewers will ditch CSI in droves, nobody likes new faces.

Nope. I never really liked the woman and the dude's "I'm only here 'cause I need the bucks" attitude wore on me.

The stars are Peterson and Helgenberger and everything else is window dressing. Easy to change curtains and the fresh blood will be invigorating.

yes, but it took him ten years to finally get on a show that made it past six weeks... he made one of the stupidest moves in "Hollywood" when he left NYPD Blue after the first season... even he admits it...

Beg to disagree. David Caruso got fired from NYPD Blue and it's still on.
Law & Order has had several interchangeable characters and it's still on.
MASH survived losing McClean Steveson and Wayne Rogers.
Those two on CSI were not major deals and they can be replaced by other actors. You notice the only actor who showed up on time, other than Peterson, was the black guy who plays Warwick. He ain't stupid.
