The have ICBM's capable of reaching the US. They have one SSBN. They at this time do not have enough fire power to knock us out but they do have enough to hurt us. My thoughts is it will be conventional and they will try to cost us as much lifes as they can hoping we back out.
They won't. They won't start something they can't finish.
Which is no doubt being tracked 24/7/52 by a combo of space, air and sea assets and would never get a single shot off if hostilities begin.

There only hope is to try and knock out a few Carriers. If they are successful in that then we could have problems defending Taiwan.
