That poll can't be right.

I had Ditka 99%, Obama 0%, Undecided 1%

Darn liberal media.

The headline should say "Obama" not "Osama."

Democrats aren't that evil.

After you factor in the C(r)ook County "dead vote", Ditka probably would have gotten beat anyway but it sure would have been fun to find out. Sigh

While I'm sure that Ditka would've made an entertaining and excellent choice for the Senate, I think it would have killed him. As I recall, he's already had one heart attack, and his being right in the thick of things, seeing all the crap that's going on at close range would very likely be hazardous to his health.

I wouldn't last 2 weeks -- I get apoplectic just from visiting here and listening to Rush & Glenn Beck everyday. Being in the midst of all the lying and distortion coming from the left would be too much for me to take, expecially when the conservative side seems so unable to effectively counter it. Our country is becoming something very unlike the one in which I grew up, and the changes I've seen appear to be leading us to ruinous weakness and distruction from within.

Best wishes, Iron Mike. You're my kind of guy.

Obama 50 %; Osama 50 %. What happened to the Land of Lincoln?

I am beginning to believe that the only way the Democrats can be sure Obama will win is if he runs unopposed.

And this is news because...? He *did* decide not to run, right?

You Ill. GOP folk are as bad as the CA GOP kooks. First Jack "public sexgate" Ryan, now Mike "even that pill can't get me into *this* game" Ditka. Who's next?

Obama will win. Boxer will win (but at least that's not a loss, just a push).

(he-he-he) They haven't heard of 'Sparky' yet.

There's a groundswell of support for 'him'. In fact we're going bonkers now on the IL page over the 'Sparky issue'. Our support is between him and Oberweis. I suggested Sparky run as Oberweis' Lt. Gov. but it's still all being debated.

IL is not Osama Obama's yet.

This could be HUGH. And I'm series!

Can't they vote for Ditka anyhow. Sort of how people in MO vote for dead people?
