20 years ago they would have been called liberal democrats - now they claim to be "moderate" rino's

Some people take baby steps into the light. The Republican speakers you are referring to will appeal to the voters who are appproaching us a bit tentatively.

But they are STILL democrats in reality.

I don't have a problem with "real" democrats - they were socially liberal and fiscal conservative (the southern democrats, that is). Which is what I am. I never registered as democrat because I do not believe that the GOVERNMENT should be paying for the social agenda.

As a Christian, I am a "social liberal" since the teachings of Christ are to help your fellow man (non-gender reference!) - Christ did not say, FORCE everybody to pay for what I believe.

Since I am also a "Fiscal Conservative" that also puts me OUT of the RNC now.

So where do the 40%+ of good Americans that basically feel the same as I do go now?

The Constitution Party s closer, but I personally do not want the govt to be "officially" Christian.

Libertarian Party - at least their declared leader - is much too liberal (the true meaning) for me - I still believe in some govt control to maintain order over the "evil" people that do exist.

What we have now is the DNC = Communist hard socialist and the RNC = democrat party of old

and nothing else where the majority 60%+ of Americans can see their values reflected - The prime source of revolution that began this country when the people were no longer being represented.
