Well she was very provocative. And very Russian, I think.

Maybe she can meet up with Basayev and Khattab in the next life, and they can chat or something. On second thought, hopefully she won't run into them in the next life. I don't despise her and I did not wish her dead.

I don't like foreigners who criticize my president, probably less than they like me criticizing theirs, but events in Georgia and Ukraine may show that Anna Politkovskaya was more accurate about Putin's cabal then others thought.

Had President Bush been against Putin, then I'm sure Politkovskaya would have discovered many of W's good traits.

Politkovskaya also tried to help 'little people', even when it was to no advantage for her. I didn't know her personally, but Freeper Svni, the smartest woman I've ever met, thought Anya was a living saint. Svni was always threatening to get us together, and when she met Politkovskaya last year she told her that she had a present from Anya's "American fiance".

I'm still young enough to change my mind about people, so I'm truly sorry I wrote what I did two years ago. I know she is in a better place.
