I saw this. All of it.
Carr handled the callers with aplomb, and slapped those who needed to be slapped.
And he treated Kerry with all the disrespect he deserves.
Howie's a good. He's right up there with Michael Medved, in terms of intellectual capability.

A friend listens to C-Span in the mornings. All it does for him is raise his blood pressure. Why bother?

He's gutsy, and doesn't hesitate to say what he thinks, and he can back it up. I was impressed.

Carr got it right. I'm one who has abandoned C-SPAN in the morning. One reason is E. D. Hill, but the main reason is that it is boring. Rabid Bush haters call in on the Democrat line, and rabid Bush haters also call in on the Republican line claiming that the used to be Republicans until Bush ruined their lives. Then there is a third line for "independent" Bush haters.

Does anyone know if Howie is on in the Austin area? Is his radio show streamed?

It is not syndicated, but I think it's streamed. Every major talk show host is streamed.

I saw this too - I rarely watch C-span anymore - Did it seem "odd" that Brian Lamb immediately wanted to give his e-mail address for "irate" callers to contact him directly???? How often do they provide this service when some liberal is on bashing our President - it is treated like it is true so who could complain? Mr. Carr's true statements about Kerry were treated with great suspicion and contempt.... IMHO.

Wow, I'm sorry I missed that. I wonder if you can listen to Howie Carr on the web radio.

C-Span has become a forum for socialists and other Michael Moore wannabes. I guess they go there, since nobody else will allow them to talk.

I called the Kerry campaign the other day and asked them when Kerry was going to apologize to President Bush for spreading Joe Wilson's lies for the past year. I told the woman that I was and Independent. I thought about it afterwards and I should have said Democrat and all may family have been Democrats. My grandfather was a Democrat politician and union president in New Jersey. The part about my family is true, but I have NEVER been a Democrat.

Thanks for the link. It's a good one because I can get Rush on the same station.

I always thought gigolos were supposed to be good looking. Who ever heard of a horse-faced gigolo?

I'm wondering why this question hasn't surfaced more often.
First of all "horse-faced" doesn't really do justice to any horse faces that I've seen.
Secondly is the mystery...why Kerry?
Women with that much money should be seeking some one who is a little easier on the eyes, as Kerry isn't just ugly...He's Butt-Ugly!
Rush calls him a "cadaver". I've seen cadavers that much better looking than Kerry. When you combine Kerrys arrogant personality with his repulsive looks only a really emotionally sick person would accept this...
The first wife was a certified nut case, I don't doubt the second one is soon to certified also, (Remember, at 65 she's "sexy, and cheeky and whatever)
I for one, do not want to look at women that are 65 with their clothes off. period.
