I happened to be in Windsor Ontario this weekend and enjoyed a cab ride driven by an Iraqi whose family is still in Northern Iraq and some in Baghdad. This man praised the US efforts to free Iraq and thanked my husband and myself for America's sacrifices. In fact, he told me, "believe it or not, I have a picture of George W. Bush in my house, he has freed our country." In addition he said he wished he was an American just so he could vote for Bush. I told him I would think of him in November when I cast my vote for W.
If we REALLY were an evil country we would:
1. Invade Canada in the middle of the night.
2. Subjugate their entire nation, and dissolve their Provinces by adding them to our norther states.
3. Place all of their surviving soldiers, politicians, police, and mounties as well as all journalists, authors, business owners, and other influential people in reeducation camps in the Northern Territories that would allow a few of them to rejoin the new United States Reich, and would allow most of them to be forgotten before they were worked to death in mines.
4. Erase all Canadian names, history, books, and their national symbols (the laughable and trademarked Maple Leaf emblem).
That's what really evil neighbors do to each other.
The Canadians are blessed as no other nation in the world is. They share a border and a language and a common culture with the United States of America and can lie about us and always go to bed each night knowing that no nation in the world would ever be allowed, by us, to attack any of their territory.
They are ingrates.

You know, just like the case with many Kiwis, cheap moralizing and idealism while parasiting off a bigger neighbour is a standartd trait among many Canadians (The US for Canada, and Australia for NZ).
A majority of Australians hold the Canadian stand with contempt - just ask our resident Aussie Freepers.
Man, I wish I had a nickle for every time this article gets posted. The hate-Canada crowd would make me a wealthy man.
Are you trying to piss off the 60% that still like you? Did some Canuck steal your girlfriend or something? Such hatred against your best friend and closest neighbour tut tut. Piss-ant??? Massive inferiority complex??? Do you know any Canucks or ever been north of the 49th parallel. I rather doubt it.
