I have always found it amusing that 90% of Canadians live on or near the U.S. border. Imagine, this huge expanse of a country filled with lakes and mountain ranges galore, and here they all are, lined up like sugar ants on a jelly bean, near as they can get to the 'evil' and 'destructive' and 'intolerable' and 'heartless' America!
Makes perfect sense to me.

You know, just like the case with many Kiwis, cheap moralizing and idealism while parasiting off a bigger neighbour is a standartd trait among many Canadians (The US for Canada, and Australia for NZ).
A majority of Australians hold the Canadian stand with contempt - just ask our resident Aussie Freepers.
