The UK has become a very screwed up and confusing place to live in. There is quite literally zero pride, no patriotic feeling and we have let the country be controlled by people who are so far Left, that they openly despise this country's history and culture.

Whilst Tony Blair personally is well regarded in the States because of his support for the USA, his desire to have a profile on the world stage has allowed his evil little lefty sidekicks to ruin the UK. I can honestly say he is a figure of hate over here because of what he has allowed to happen over the last 7 years.

The BNP is too far right (and violent) to have credibility but they are gathering momentum because of the people's perception that they as citizens are truly second best to the "asylum seekers" that continue to pour into the UK each day.

No wonder over 40% of this population would leave the country tomorrow. As somebody said last week "I'm leaving the UK to be an ethnic minority in someone else's country, far rather that than become one in my own in five years time".

Make sure you NEVER let the United States become what has been allowed to happen over here.

That is not true! As someone who left a country that is ruled by someone far more left wing than Mr Blair, I am enjoying living in the UK. As for no patriotism, everywhere I look there are English flags, and many of the English people I know are proud of their country (especially when it comes to talking about the recent NZ/Eng cricket tests, or the rugby world cup - although we've turned that around again!)

I think the culture and history here are wonderful. In NZ, the lefties are trying to bury european history because it is embarassing - that is, we spent a lot of time taking advantage of the Maori. So we are not allowed to take pride in our history - only the Maori history. In the UK, I can find the other half of my identity!
