I wonder if they check the bags of people entering the courthouse?

They do here in Dallas, for sure. (Even in Garland...Dallas suburb.) You walk thru a metal detector and your bag goes thru the x-ray.
Excellent point. I have been stating for years that, particularily in Missouri where I live, a courthouse check of bags and people violates both the federal and state constitutions protecting the right of not being searched without probable cause and protecting the right to keep and bear arms.
But unfortunately, too many "conservatives" (which implies the conservation of something, such as the Bill of Rights) support such unconstitutional activity, as indicated by the responses on this posting.
