I’ve been told that there are retention problems with senior special forces. Seems that after 15 or 20 years, they’re being offered two year contract at $150 – 200k per year to work in Iraqi security. Couple that with retirement, and it’s hard to turn down.

Despite the skills lost, glad they fought a way to finally earn close to what they’re worth nevertheless.

Don't worry, we can just have a draft to replace 20 year vet Special Forces guys with snotnosed 2-year draftees that don't want to be in the Army!
