No Air Marshal on board?....Once the rags started acting hinky
The passangers and crew should have stomped them and tied them up just for GP
imo
I like the part where one of them went into the toilet and the methane from the septic tank blew up and threw him into the aisle. Wait, that may be a different urban legend.
Let's see: he (1) found the casino the musicians were booked at without knowing their names or any details, (2) called the casino and confirmed that the musicians played there and got their names, (3) talked to the booking agent and confirmed the flight information, and (4) established that the lead singer was a legitimate musician.
All of which is more than you did.
Ping!

Thank you so much. This story will fall apart as the Conservative hit piece that the Kerry camp designed it to be from the start.
I have stood firm that the story reeks and it will soon come to light.
That might be relevant were he and I competing for that information. Try again.
But the sheeple will swallow the story and say, no big deal. And they'll call us tin foil hat wearers.
Those who can do. Those who can't carp from the sidelines. Grow up.
The song on the bottom right caught my attention. I've seen the word 'shaheed' before. Googled to confirm my memory and found this...
Shaheed: a martyr. Someone who dies in the way of Allah.
I don't think he is a Syrian Christian
Anyone listening to Linken Park?
Now that's terror!
And another thing, a very small thing,I admit BUT,it bothered me that when one guy came back from the bathroom,he rubbed his neck and mouthed according to Jacobsen(sp?)the word "NO." They had been speaking Arabic all of this time and now,all of the sudden the guy uses an English word?!
Ferriners act funny.
Likewise we look funny to them.
My scenario I posted on 7/16 was meant to be just Satire, but now seems to be closer to what happened than what we were fearing. It follows:
The UN-OFFICIAL statement from the Middle Eastern passengers.
I am shocked that we were treated this way said band leader Benny Almuddin. We were simply 14 innocent musicians hired to play at the Palm Tree Dessert Inn and Casino outside of Las Vegas. What started as a simple practical joke between my musicians ended up being a very embarrassing and almost tragic event.
This whole thing all started at a last minute lunch stop before our flight at a Detroit McDonald's when one of the wind instrument players slipped some Ex-lax into the chocolate milkshake of percussionist Ali Shaheed, and then made a bet with the other band members how long into the flight poor Ali could last before ahhhhhh he ahhhhhhh had to run to the bathroom. The winner would receive an expensive new flute purchased at a New York shop, which is what was the object wrapped up in cloth. Then the joke was carried even further, way to far in my opinion, when cello player Kambiz, who had super glue hidden in a McDonalds bag, slipped into the nearest bathroom to Ali, and glued the toilet paper roll so it was impossible to unroll. The other band members thought it would be real funny to keep the only other bathroom busy throughout the flight.
I being the band leader sat in the front of the airplane in first class noticed the tom-foolery going on in the back and stood up and gave the members of the band a stern look, hoping they would sit back down and act like gentlemen. This is when Abdul the lead flutist motioned to the other band members to cut it out, with the motion of running his finger across his throat and mouthing No to the others.
That is what happened, I swear to Ala. I'm sorry if we caused any concern among the other passengers.
I KISS YOU!!!!!
Just returned from a business trip where I saw Anne and Kevin Jacobson on a cable show (Scarborough Country - we don't have cable in our home) with with 3 security experts following up and commenting. All of the experts implied the Jacobson's were seeing 'ghosts' while admittedly odd behavior was occuring. Amazingly their conclusions were a result of the FBI releasing the 14 men in question after checking their names and interrogating them.
Subsequently, I saw Anne on another show again with a follow up by an expert who basically took the same line. Since then, I have read the account offered by Anne and Kevin online (frontpagemag.com and wnd.com).
It is clear to me a lot of questions are not being asked or answered. As a frequent flyer there are a number of obvious unasked/unanswered questions that come to mind.
Q1) Approximately two months ago all airlines came down with a directive that congregating of groups on airborne aircraft would not be permissible. Question1: Why were these men NOT directed to stop congregating and take their seats? Why didn't the flight attendants take appropriate action? Q2) It has been my experience since 9/11 one cannot be out his seat within 15-30 minutes of landing, much less in a group. I have been admonished more than once - quickly and sharply - if I forgot and got up to go to the restroom when we were within 15-30 minutes of landing. Question2: Why were these men NOT directed to return to their seats immediately? Why didn't the flight attendants take appropriate action?
3) These 14 men were identified as musicians, members of a Syrian band traveling to a gig at a casino near Los Angelos. Questions3-7: Q3-What is the name of the casino in question? Q4-What is the name of the group? Q4-Did all 14 members perform at the casino? Q5-How long have the 14 members been performing together? Q6-Who is the newest member of the group? Q7-Have they traveled before to LA by plane for such a gig? (Note: a Stanford student has "confirmed" the casino and that a band at least similar in make up to the band in question confirmed. Still his information is a bit sketchy at best)
4) Why can't someone talk to the men in question and ask a few basic questions? Questions 8-10: Q8-Did you know about the airline rule prohibiting congregating during flights? Q9-Did you know about the airline rule prohiting being out of your seats with the seatbelt light on during approach? Q10-Where you surprised no one said anything to you about these violations.
5) Then a few more basic questions. Questions 11-14: Q11-How much did you get paid for this 'gig' near LA? Q12-Who paid for the travel and the performance? Q13-Was the payment divided up evenly among the band members? Q14-Who arranged for the performance?
There are obviously a number of other questions that would come to mind if there is at least one very new member of the band and maybe more than one. Or what if the performance in the LA casino was somewhat unusal for the band.
Good luck!
